If you have very little space and need to get your bike out of the way, this is the way to go. My wife and I were trying to fit two bikes into an already small apartment. I should have bought something like this earlier!

I have a more expensive Racor bike hoist and as far as I can tell - there are very few differences in the way this product is made and its performance - concept is great, and for a heavier or a tandem bike it couldn't be done better! - beware - you have to hit joist when installing - so if you are not a handy person - hire or ask someone to help you - highly recommend!

This product is fantastic in that it saves me so much space in my garage, while at the same time keeps the bike free of dings and paint stains and other debris. At the price, I got a few extra. (It is so much cheaper than the more "pro" versions, but with 95% of the utility.)
